Qualifications

Essential Functions

• Input data into pre-written computer programs
• Operate computer programs for report generation and calculations
• Interpret construction plans and specifications
• Observe construction operations to assess conformance to plans and specs
• Perform construction materials testing
• Document daily activities and site conditions clearly in writing
• Communicate effectively with staff, contractors, and clients
• Work independently when required and as part of a team on larger projects
• Identify potential issues, determine solutions, and implement steps
• Participate in technical training and maintain certifications
• Document work and expenses in the company system
• Accept increasing responsibilities and train others as needed

Experience

• 6+ years in construction inspection or trades

Skills

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Reliable personal vehicle for site travel
