Job description

Hill International is seeking a Sr Construction Manager in San Diego, California

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct supervision and management oversight of substation and other electric asset security system installation and construction management, safety, and reporting.
  2. Oversee design and engineering responsibilities for two or more complex technical engineering, civil engineering, and/or civil construction projects or programs.
  3. Provide site assessment guidance and oversight.
  4. Deliver design redlines and updates to compare as-designed to as-built.
  5. Conduct safety and security tailgate meetings with daily reports, logs, and updates.

Qualifications:

  1. 15+ years of experience in electric utility and construction installation, implementation, and management.
  2. Direct utility high voltage electric journeyman level experience serving a utility with 1M or more customers over 15+ years, with demonstrated leadership and safety record, and excellent communication skills.
  3. Qualified Electrical Worker or equivalent electric utility training and exposure.

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $110,000-$150,000, based on qualifications, education, experience, and work location.
