Role Responsibilities

The Senior Construction Inspector 4 will oversee construction inspections, ensure compliance with project specifications, and manage subordinate inspectors, focusing on road and bridge projects.

Key Duties:

• Perform inspections of concrete, earthwork, asphalt pavement; report findings.
• Inspect road and bridge construction, conduct material sampling/testing.
• Supervise and evaluate subordinate inspectors; identify training needs.
• Review reports and testing procedures for compliance.
• Assist project management; communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ensure safety standards are upheld; maintain certifications.
• Support project scope, schedule, and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years relevant experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Basic math skills including geometry and trigonometry.
• Effective communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to pass certifications.

• Mid-Senior level, full-time position.
• May require day/night work to support schedules.
