Duties, Responsibilities & Other
We are seeking to grow our construction engineering team in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey. You will join our enthusiastic team in providing high-quality, complex engineering solutions to our clients.
Construction engineering involves design consulting services across various aspects of project delivery, including construction logistics planning, demolition and shoring design, means and methods, crane and hoist design, steel connections, and site observations. The ideal candidate will have a background in structural engineering design and experience working with contractors on projects in the construction phase.
We are interested in candidates with experience in permanent works design, temporary works design, and construction engineering. The right candidate will have at least 2 years of structural or construction engineering experience, be able to work independently, and possess creative problem-solving skills.
This role offers the opportunity to collaborate directly with architects, contractors, and developers to develop structural solutions that address technical challenges in building and infrastructure construction.
A strong technical education, professional demeanor, and eagerness to learn are essential for success in this position.
Qualifications
Education and Skills Required: • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience. • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program. • Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Revit. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. • Good communication and technical writing skills. • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. • Ability to work collaboratively. • Strong problem-solving skills.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations Required: • Ability to maintain required certifications.
Preferred: • Professional Engineer (PE) eligibility.
