  • Ensure documentation accurately reflects product design, test conditions, methodologies, and results.
  • Support the primary author of UL submittal packages and engineering justifications.

Interpret and Apply Regulatory Requirements

  • Apply global regulatory and safety standards (e.g., UL, CSA) to ensure product compliance across all applicable markets.

Lead Certification Activities

  • Manage UL certification projects from quoting through issuance of Certificates of Compliance (CoC).
  • Coordinate test data collection, sample submission, and final report reviews.
  • Maintain Dekko’s UL Data Acceptance Program (DAP) status.
  • Manage lab documentation, calibration procedures, and audit readiness.
  • Serve as an authorized Signatory responsible for validating test data and ensuring adherence to UL testing protocols.

  • Declarations of conformity
  • Test plans aligned with current standards

Support Product Development and Launch

  • Participate in design reviews to ensure alignment with compliance and labeling requirements.

Coordinate Testing and Data Submission

  • Oversee product testing activities in Dekko’s DAP lab and with external facilities.
  • Ensure data integrity, traceability, and full compliance with UL-approved test methods.

Respond to Surveillance Audits and Variation Notices

  • Lead responses to UL audits and surveillance activities.
  • Investigate and resolve Variation Notices (VNs) using root cause analysis and documented corrective actions.

Monitor Evolving Standards

  • Track changes to UL, CSA, and international standards using the Collaborative Standards Development System (CSDS) and other resources.
  • Evaluate the impact of changes on certifications and product development plans.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Program Management, and Sourcing teams.
  • Ensure product design, components, and materials are aligned with regulatory compliance strategies.

Support IP, Labeling, and Documentation

  • Review product labeling, installation instructions, and technical documents.
  • Ensure all content meets accuracy and compliance scope requirements.

Required Qualifications:
