Job summary

Grecian Delight is seeking a Senior Commercial Financial Analyst at Elk Grove Village to partner with Sales and Finance. You will translate opportunities into financial insights, support pricing initiatives, and improve profit margins across Foodservice, National Accounts, and Retail.

The role requires 5-8+ years of experience, strong ERP and Excel skills, and experience with trade spend management. Travel up to 15% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 5-8+ years of progressive financial analysis experience supporting commercial or sales organizations.
• Experience developing dashboards in Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or similar.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex financial modeling.
• Experience in food manufacturing, CPG, or related industries.
• Experience supporting foodservice distribution partners.
• Experience with trade spend management and revenue growth management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales performance, pricing, margins, and profitability across customers, products, and channels.
• Develop weekly, quarterly, and monthly commercial reporting and executive dashboards.
• Perform volume, price, mix, and revenue variance analysis.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and sales planning processes.
• Build financial models and business cases for pricing initiatives and new products.
• Evaluate customer and product profitability and recommend actions to improve margins.
• Track SIP performance and support commercial forecasting.
• Analyze market trends and distributor data to identify growth opportunities.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to provide data-driven recommendations.

We are seeking Sr. Commercial Financial Analyst to be located at our Elk Grove Village location reporting to Chief Commercial Officer. As our Sr. Commercial Financial Analyst you will be responsible to serve as a strategic business partner to Sales leadership and a key link between Finance and Commercial teams across Foodservice, National Accounts, and Retail. This role drives profitable growth by translating business opportunities into structured financial insights, ensuring strong financial discipline, clear margin visibility, and improved pricing, customer profitability, sales performance, and forecasting accuracy. Partnering closely with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and Executive Leadership, the role transforms commercial data into actionable insights that support better decision-making across the organization.

What you will do…

• Analyze market trends, distributor data, and competitive pricing to identify growth opportunities.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to provide data-driven recommendations that improve business performance.

What you will bring…

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 5-8+ years of progressive financial analysis experience supporting commercial or sales organizations.
• Experience developing dashboards in Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
• Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or similar.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex financial modeling.
• Experience in food manufacturing, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or related manufacturing industries.
• Experience supporting Foodservice distribution partners such as Sysco, US Foods, Performance Food Group, Gordon Food Service, or similar.
• Experience with trade spend management and revenue growth management (RGM).
• Knowledge of SQL, Power Query, Power Pivot, or advanced data analytics tools.
• Ability to travel up to 15% as business needs require.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to translate financial data into business decisions.

Target Base Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 annually, plus eligibility for a 15 % annual performance bonus.
