What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity
- Conduct coverage determinations and perform investigative work related to claims
- Handle first-party exposures including Medical Payment coverage and Uninsured Motorists claims
- Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with insureds and claimants
- Communicate pertinent case facts to supervisors or management as necessary
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 4-5 years of claims experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in casualty adjuster experience
- High school diploma (HS/GED) or at least 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
- Must hold an Adjuster's license for all applicable states or obtain licenses within 90 days of employment
- Ability to handle claims efficiently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel as needed for role-related meetings
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5+ years of casualty claims adjuster experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, insurance, or a related field
- Experience in commercial claims handling
- Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency is a plus
