Position Overview:

• An App Admin is part of the Solution support team, focusing on the reliability, performance, maintainability, and optimization of business applications.
• The role requires strong experience supporting and configuring business-critical document capture and transformation software.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for Captiva OpenText, troubleshooting, resolving issues, and assisting end-users.
• Act as liaison with OpenText, conveying requirements, reporting issues, and collaborating on solutions.
• Install, configure, and maintain Captiva OpenText applications.
• Customize and adapt the software, including scripting and integrations.
• Perform updates, patches, and routine maintenance.
• Create and maintain documentation, including setup, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams for system integration.
• Investigate and resolve technical incidents, escalating when necessary.
• Train users on the application and new features.
• Monitor and optimize application performance.
• Administer servers, processes, and automate manual tasks.
• Conduct root cause analysis and write reports.
• Analyze incidents and provide Level 2 operational support, including off-hours incident response.
• Perform troubleshooting, manage recognition templates, and scripting.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong systems, network, and admin knowledge.
• Experience with server access tools like Remote Desktop and Citrix.
• Experience installing, upgrading, patching, configuring software.
• Experience with OpenText Intelligent Capture/Captiva v23.x or higher, including configuration and designing workflows.
• Knowledge of scripting, Capture Flow Designer, and web APIs.
• Understanding of data matrix barcodes, scanning, imaging, and document tools.
• Programming skills in C#, .Net, Rest Web services, VB, Python, Java.
• Experience with DevOps tools like GitHub, and SQL.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
