Mandatory Expertise and Experience:

• Three (3) or more years of experience in application development, specifically with Extract Transform and Load (ETL) tools, SSIS, and complex SQL queries.
• Experience working in a SQL Server environment, including creating and maintaining SQL Server Agents (SSAs).
• At least two (2) years of experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Experience with GitHub Version Control System, including branching strategies for complex systems.
• Experience with data conversion projects and processes.
• Ability to identify and address data quality issues.
• Experience with large-scale public sector IT projects.
• Familiarity with JIRA, mainframe systems, and Lotus Notes applications.

Scope of Services:

• Analyze and document data conversion scope, approach, and requirements.
• Map legacy data files to new system tables, including translation and foreign key rules.
• Develop program modules using SSIS ETL tools independently.
• Create and run SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
• Monitor SSIS program runtimes and resolve errors and performance issues.
• Address data integrity issues and discrepancies.
• Conduct code reviews and testing of new code.
• Test conversion modules for accuracy and system performance.
• Participate in Scrum meetings and provide knowledge transfer, training, and documentation to State personnel.
