Your Day-to-Day:

The Senior Civil Structural Engineer will be an individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge and the ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects. This role involves adapting to precedent and making significant departures from traditional approaches to develop solutions.

1. Support civil/structural design activities, including calculations in structural steel or concrete design.
2. Address technical issues related to fabrication, assembly, and construction phases of civil/structural projects, including technical justification of design changes and troubleshooting emergent issues.
3. Provide on-site support at various utilities and smaller projects as required.
4. Gain familiarity with analytical tools such as ANSYS, LS-DYNA, and GTSTRUDL.
5. Assist in maintaining software compliance records and closing engineering corrective actions.
6. Become familiar with applicable industry civil/structural codes and standards (such as ACI, AISC, AWS) as well as company policies and procedures.
7. Develop engineering sketches and markups using AutoCAD or similar CAD programs.

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience required; typically 8-10 years of experience preferred.
• FE certification is a plus.
