Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 8–15 years municipal, water and wastewater engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Project management experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Sewer and water main design experience
• Experience with local and state government organizations
• Familiar with Illinois EPA permitting and funding processes
• Enthusiasm for business development

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineer for our Municipal Group to join our team. In this role, you will work with local municipalities and private clients to plan, design and manage the construction of water and wastewater projects as well as the other various civil engineering projects

What You’ll Do:

• Mentor staff and collaborate with rest of Civil team/offices
• Maintain relationships with state and local authorities.
• Communicate with Clients regarding current and future projects
• Attend City staff and council/board meetings as necessary
• Support Municipal related project development
• Assist with Client development and business development efforts
• Prepare project proposals

What You’ll Need:

Compensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Illinois Pay Transparency $91,000 — $149,000 USD
