Job summary

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our team in Frisco, TX. You will work on a broad range of municipal and private projects, including site design, water main design, and roadway grading, ensuring quality and excellence.

The role emphasizes client relationship management, collaboration with subconsultants, and participation in business development efforts. A PE license and ABET-accredited program are required, with 8–15 years of experience.
Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering program required.
• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) expected.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, complete, and manage municipal civil engineering projects from inception to completion with oversight from senior engineers.
• Prepare and develop construction plans and documents.
• Collaborate with Farnsworth Group disciplines and subconsultants.
• Occasionally attend project, city staff, and board meetings.
• Prepare project proposals.
• Assist with business development efforts and development of projects.
• Manage, support, and build relationships with clients and agencies.
• Conduct project field observations and assessments.
