Job summary

Farnsworth Group, a national architectural, engineering, and surveying firm, is seeking a Municipal Civil Engineer to support water, wastewater, and stormwater projects for local and government clients in Pontiac, IL and nearby posting locations.

The role combines office design work with field observation, offering a Hybrid Work Program and opportunities for FE/PE certification, with salary range $70,000-$90,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• 2 – 5 years of Civil Engineering experience.
• FE or PE Certification, or expected to be obtained.
• Experience with IDOT, MFT and local agency projects.
• Experience or understanding of working with state and local authorities.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D.
• Ability to work both in the office and field for construction engineering and observation.
• Management, communication, and organization skills.

FarnsworthGroup is seeking a Municipal Civil Engineer in one of the posting locations below. In this role, you will be focused on the planning, design, and management of various civil engineering projects including water/wastewater/stormwater for local and government agencies.

Salary Range

Salary Range:$70,000 - $90,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity)
