Job description

Needed immediately: A Civil Engineer III in either Peachtree Corners or Marietta, GA.

Position Summary:

This position will develop conceptual and detailed design plans using Civil 3D that ensure functionality and performance for the client’s project requirements, aimed at assuring project quality and accuracy of construction deliverables.

Job Duties:

1. Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans; confer with Project Manager.
2. Follow parameters for each project, including design elements and implementation procedures.
3. Develop and monitor project metrics and manage collection of project data.
4. Maintain an effective customer service attitude in all client interactions, adhering to policies, standards, and specifications.
5. Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members on schedules and production expectations.
6. Communicate professionally with clients in a timely manner.
7. Uphold professionalism that aligns with and promotes the company's vision.
8. Apply engineering principles and plan production knowledge.
9. Design and draft engineering drawings effectively.
10. Understand site design and layout, including site planning, erosion control, storm and sanitary sewer, domestic water, and grading concepts.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
2. PE or EIT/FE certification.
3. Erosion Control Certification.
4. 2-5 years of relevant experience.
5. Proficiency in Civil 3D software.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
7. Organizational skills.
8. Commitment to exceeding company and client expectations.
