Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a remote drafting engineer to develop engineered construction plans using AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and CADWorx, and to produce accurate 3D models and drawings.

You will collaborate with design coordinators and project engineers, ensure CAD standards, and maintain project file structures while supporting multiple projects across utilities and industrial sectors.

Qualifications

This position is a full-time remote position

Responsibilities:

This role is responsible for developing engineered construction plans using advanced drafting and 3D modeling software, creating existing conditions drawings from as-builts, aerial imagery, field notes, and survey data, and producing foundation location plans with detailed annotations and dimensions. The position also involves setting up drawing packages, including sheets, title blocks, notes, and details, creating and modifying structural 3D models, and plotting drawings for engineering review. Additionally, the individual will update drawings based on direction from Design Coordinators and Project Engineers, ensure compliance with ENE and client CAD standards, and maintain project base file structures while effectively communicating updates across the project team.

Required Qualifications:

• 5-8 years' experience in design skills, AutoCAD, Plant 3D or CADworx

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certificate in drafting or other technical skill preferred.

• Excellent communication skills

• Organized to stay on task and complete projects within budget

• Detail oriented for producing a great quality package

• Self-motivated for striving to build upon previous successes
