Ardurra in New Jersey seeks a CAD designer with 3+ years' experience in AutoCAD and REVIT to develop building construction documents. You will work with engineers and designers to produce accurate drawings and coordinate across disciplines.
The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple drawing sets and revisions. This is a fulltime, on-site position based in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Ideal candidate will possess a minimum 3 years of experience preparing AutoCAD design drawings in Auto Cad as well as REVIT models for municipal, commercial, and industrial facilities. A thorough understanding of Auto Cad and REVIT is required. Experience drawing building layouts, floor plans, foundation plans, framing plans, wall sections and details. Experience with creating REVIT libraries, using BIM360 and coordinating drawings between multiple disciplines is a plus. The candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills that will enable them to communicate with engineering design staff as well as generate the proper Drawing notations.
Typically requires 2-4 years design experience. Incumbent must demonstrate a soundunderstanding of design concepts with minimal engineering input and a proficiency in usingCADD/drafting software for moderately-difficult design assignments.
