Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a CAD Designer to develop facility and site drawings using AutoCAD and Plant 3D for pipeline and facility projects. You will set up grids, sheets, notes, and details, and coordinate with Drafters to produce complete deliverables.

The role requires creating 2D drawings from 3D models, leveraging point clouds for existing conditions, and translating P&ID data into practical designs for projects across the US. This is a remote full-time opportunity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of advanced AutoCAD and CADworx experience.
• Experience generating installation details, panel layouts, and wiring schematics for pipeline/facility projects.
• Technical degree or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

The Designer will have intermediate knowledge of generating AutoCAD and CADworx for installation details, panel layouts, and equipment/instrument wiring schematics for pipeline and facility projects. The Designer will develop CAD designs from general instruction to a detailed finish product. The Designer will coordinate efforts and work with Drafters to prepare and assemble project deliverables. The Designer should have a full understanding of file structure, specifications, industry and client standards related to assigned projects.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

This role is responsible for developing facility and site design drawings using AutoCAD and Plant 3D, including setting up station grids, key plans, sheets, title blocks, notes, and details for complete drawing packages. The position requires a strong understanding of typical meter, regulation, valve, and compression station layouts, along with the ability to add annotations and dimensions to plot plans, details, and schematics. Responsibilities also include creating 2D drawings from 3D models, utilizing point clouds to model existing conditions, and developing designs from P&ID packages to support facility projects.
