UNM HealthSciences Unrestricted Accounting is seeking to hire a full-time Senior Business Manager to join ourteam—a driven, enthusiastic, and visionary professional who is eager to make a meaningful impact. This position will provide comprehensive fiscal training, administrative, and customer support for HSC Fiscal Operations. This individual will develop and maintain standard operating procedures, job aids, training materials, and fiscal resources to promote consistent processes and compliancewith UNM policies and applicable state and federal regulations. The Sr.Business Manager will coordinate fiscal communications, maintain communicationlistservs, update UNM’s Standard Accounting Resource Manual, and serve as a keyresource for HSC schools, colleges, departments, and internal customersregarding purchasing, expense reimbursements, and fiscal procedures.
Responsibilities include avariety of financial processing functions, including cash receipt processing,live check and money list reconciliation reviews. In addition to fund summaryreviews, operating ledger account code reviews, journal vouchers, invoices,expense reimbursements, financial transaction reviews, and inter-companyuploads. Administrative support includes administrative coordination throughmanagement of fiscal services schedules, audit activities, email inquiries,Smartsheet resources, and follow-up activities to ensure timely resolution ofcustomer service and reconciliation items. Additional cross-functional supportand miscellaneous duties as assigned to ensure continuity of operations,accurate financial processing, effective customer service, and compliance withuniversity fiscal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
