Innova Solutions is seeking a Sr. Business Data Analyst for a 12+ month contract in Charlotte, NC. The role is hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) with responsibilities spanning requirements gathering, process documentation, data governance, and Jira-based agile delivery.

Ideal candidates will lead business and tech stakeholders, create BRDs and data mappings, and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure data quality and compliant controls. Competitive pay and benefits apply.

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with business and technology stakeholders.
• Document current-state and future-state business processes, capabilities, and workflows.
• Inventory and rationalize existing STARE functionality and related processes.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes, reduce operational complexity, and improve controls.
• Create BRDs, functional requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
• Develop and maintain source-to-target mappings, metadata inventories, lineage documentation, and data dictionaries.
• Partner with upstream and downstream application teams to document dependencies and integration requirements.
• Manage and maintain Jira epics, features, stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog artifacts.
• Support data quality, governance, reconciliation, control, and auditability requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, decision tracking, issue resolution, and requirements signoff.
• Assist with migration, coexistence, and legacy application retirement planning.
• Support broader CR360 initiatives and legacy sunset activities as needed.

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Sr. Business Data Analyst. Position type: Contract (12+ months). Location: Charlotte, NC. Hybrid Onsite (3 days onsite, 2 days remote in a week).

As a Sr. Business Data Analyst, you will:

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with business and technology stakeholders.
• Document current-state and future-state business processes, capabilities, and workflows.
• Inventory and rationalize existing STARE functionality and associated business processes.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes, reduce operational complexity, and improve controls.
• Create business requirements, functional requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories.

Ideal candidate will have:

• Experience leading requirements gathering and business process analysis initiatives.
• Strong understanding of data management concepts including: Data lineage, metadata management, data mapping, data quality & data governance
• Experience creating: BRDs, functional requirements documents, process flows, and data Mapping Documents
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Agile delivery methodologies.

This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position.

Pay Range and Benefits:

Pay Range*: Between $74 - $80 per hour. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
