Job Summary

The Sr. Business Analyst will be part of Analytics Based Services, a group undergoing an exciting Digital Transformation. As an empowered team member and leader, knowledgeable in the business, you will deploy best practices to facilitate the elicitation, organization, and documentation of business requirements in an Agile/Scrum environment, working with members of assigned business units.

Responsibilities

1. Solicit, analyze, and negotiate customer requirements to ensure solutions meet real needs; minimize requirement defects; establish and maintain agreement on project deliverables.
2. Manage multiple priorities, customer expectations, and stakeholder relationships at all levels.
3. Collaborate with project sponsors, end-users, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, obtain signoff, and facilitate communication.
4. Participate in team events and serve as backup for the Product Owner or Scrum Master as needed.
5. Work with developers to determine effort estimates and with the business to define scope.
6. Assist with planning activities and provide insights into priorities, dependencies, and risks.
7. Refine requirements through grooming sessions, ensuring proper documentation and meeting the Definition of Ready.
8. Support training efforts for end users and staff.
9. Mentor junior staff members.

Requirements

1. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst; experience in a Project Management Organization preferred.
2. Experience designing and implementing project management methodologies and requirements practices.
3. Knowledge of Healthcare industry workflows, especially healthcare claim processing.
4. Familiarity with development methodologies: Waterfall, Iterative, Agile/Scrum, especially SAFe.
5. Knowledge of DevOps, BDD, TDD.
6. Expertise in business and system analysis, time management, and communication skills.
7. Ability to lead, develop, mentor, and use tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Office, Visio, Lucid, Miro.
8. Bachelor's degree required; certifications like CCBA, CBAP, CSM, or CSPO preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $110K–$115K, with additional benefits including health insurance, 401k, bonus, and more. We offer flexible schedules, professional development, and a supportive work environment.
