Job summary

Gallagher Bassett, a premier risk and claims solutions provider, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Rolling Meadows, IL. You will serve as the liaison between customers and the technical team, elicit and validate business needs, and guide requirements through design and delivery.

You\'ll collaborate with business units and developers to create clear specifications, manage stakeholder expectations, and support testing to ensure successful outcomes for complex projects with local impact.

How you'll make an impact

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst that will serve as the liaison between the customer community and the technical development team. This person will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, validating, specifying, verifying, and managing the business needs of the project stakeholders, including customers and end users. The successful candidate will work closely with business units, subject matter experts and technical resources to identify business needs, define projects, develop requirements and manage the development effort to completion.

• Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
• Define and document internal and external user interfaces and support system and data requirement clarification and definition.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and decompose high‑level information into details.
• Work with functional leads to transform and develop new requirements into design and implementation.
• Create and maintain workflows, approval processes, and validation rules based on internal stakeholder requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
• Assist in quality assurance and defining testing strategy and risks.

About You
