STV Inc. is seeking a Part-time Senior Bridge Engineer Business Developer

STV Inc. is looking for a highly motivated Senior Bridge Engineer Business Developer to join our dynamic Pittsburgh Transportation group. In this role, you will leverage your experience in project management and business development to contribute to the growth of our structural group. What you will do:

• Manage structural aspects of projects and multidisciplinary efforts.
• Lead business development efforts by delivering quality work, providing excellent client service, and assisting in proposal preparation.
• Mentor staff for high performance, encouraging and motivating team members.
• Design and analyze new and existing bridges, retaining walls, culverts, sign structures, and related transportation structures.
• Perform bridge rehabilitation design and load ratings.
• Produce construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Conduct constructability reviews and review shop drawings, responding to contractor RFI.
• Ensure quality control of computations, designs, and inspection reports.
• Prepare quality documentation and assist in proposal development.
• Mentor the design team and develop structural packages for pursuits.
• Prepare construction engineering documents for design projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
• Demonstrated skill in project management and business development.
• Leadership ability in engineering bridge and infrastructure projects, with experience managing projects from inception to construction.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as Midas, LARS, MDX, V-Bent, CSi Bridge, Leap Bridge, STAAD, AASHTOWARE, PennDOT Programs.
• Proficiency in MicroStation (preferred) and/or AutoCAD.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in structural design and management of bridges and infrastructure.
• Deep understanding of structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, pre-stressed concrete, and timber structures related to transportation.
• PA PE License is required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Familiarity with MS Excel, Word, and Mathcad.
• Flexibility to work on projects across PA and other states.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.

Compensation Range: $113,750.37 - $151,667.16
