VDart Inc in McLean, VA is seeking a Sr BI & Reporting Analyst to translate data into actionable insights. The contract role onsite requires hands-on expertise in Power BI, Excel, and business reporting to support stakeholders with accurate dashboards and reports.

You will develop dashboards, perform data validation, create presentations, and collaborate with business and technology teams to drive reporting improvements and automation.

Formación

• 5-8 years of experience in analytics, business reporting, or BI.
• Strong hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, lookup functions, formulas, data analysis.
• Strong PowerPoint skills for management-ready presentations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to interpret data and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple reporting requirements independently.

We are looking for an experienced Sr BI & Reporting Analyst with strong hands-on expertise in data analysis, reporting, Power BI, and Microsoft Excel. The individual should be detail-oriented, comfortable working with business stakeholders, and capable of translating data into accurate, meaningful reports and management insights.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
• Perform data analysis, reconciliation, validation, and recurring reporting using Microsoft Excel.
• Create clear, professional PowerPoint presentations to communicate findings and business insights.
• Gather reporting requirements and translate business needs into dashboards, reports, and analytical outputs.
• Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across reports and presentations.
• Perform quality checks, investigate discrepancies, and resolve reporting issues.

• Ability to manage multiple reporting requirements and work independently.

Good to Have Skills

• Working knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing data.
• Experience with Power Query and DAX.

• Experience working with large or complex datasets.
• Prior experience in banking or financial services environments.
