Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a Power BI Reporting Analyst to support reporting and dashboard development. This role will partner with stakeholders to create solutions that enable data-driven decision-making.

The ideal candidate has over 3 years in reporting and analytics, exceptional Power BI skills, and the ability to gather requirements effectively. Candidates should have a background in business intelligence and be familiar with visualization techniques, preferably holding a Bachelor's degree.

Full-Time Contract (12 Months) with Potential for Extension or Conversion

Overview

We are seeking a Power BI Reporting Analyst to support reporting, analytics, and dashboard development efforts within a large project and portfolio management environment. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders to translate reporting needs into actionable insights, helping leadership make informed decisions through data-driven reporting solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong Power BI expertise with the ability to gather requirements, communicate with stakeholders, and develop meaningful reporting that supports business objectives

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports
• Gather and document business and reporting requirements from stakeholders
• Create reporting solutions that provide visibility into project and portfolio performance
• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Develop and maintain data models and reporting frameworks
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure reporting accuracy and usability
• Support data quality, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audienc

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or related roles
• Hands-on experience with Power BI dashboard development and reporting
• Experience gathering requirements and working directly with business stakeholders
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with data modeling, reporting best practices, and visualization techniq
• Bachelor's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting PMO, project portfolio, or program reporting environment
• Familiarity with Power Query, DAX, and Power BI data models
• Experience within utility, engineering, infrastructure, construction, or project-based organizations
