Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data modeling for relational and OLAP databases.
• Strong background in data warehousing, BI analytics, and enterprise reporting.
• Hands-on Power BI dashboard and report development experience.
• Proficiency with Power Query/Power Pivot for data modeling.
• Expertise in DAX and building optimized reports and dashboards.
• Experience with Power BI Report Builder and Paginated Reports.
• Excellent SQL skills with SQL Server or equivalent relational DBs.
• Experience with Databricks and cloud data platforms is a plus.
• Financial services experience (Fixed Income, Equity, Derivatives) is preferred.
• Strong business analysis, requirements gathering, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI reports and dashboards and ad-hoc queries.
• Collaborate with business users to understand requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
• Develop and optimize data models using Power Query and Power Pivot.
• Create reports using Power BI Report Builder and Paginated Reports.
• Manage SQL Server and other relational databases and optimize queries.
• Analyze user needs and translate to technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot reporting and data issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Oversee project activities through full lifecycle from inception to deployment.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deliverables.
