Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and guide engineering teams to achieve quality, productivity, and operational-efficiency goals.
• Mentor and potentially lead engineering team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable manufacturing processes and systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, improve, and provide hands-on technical support for automated equipment.
• Perform and document engineering studies and evaluations.
• Analyze data to drive improvements, prioritize initiatives, and identify opportunities.
• Lead and mentor root-cause and corrective-action activities.
• Assess, deliver, and schedule technical training covering electromechanical systems, pneumatics, servos, PLCs, schematic interpretation, and new technologies.
• Champion high-visibility projects and develop project scopes, timelines, savings estimates, and cost estimates.
• Quote new automation lines and engineering services and develop automation design concepts.
• Prepare validation documents, user requirements, equipment specifications, and other engineering documentation.
• Build relationships with customers and automation suppliers.
• Provide engineering support to optimize plant machinery, equipment, and processes.
• Promote and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
• Research new technologies and methodologies for plant applications.
• Support quality, safety, regulatory, and company requirements.
