Job summary

United Pharma is seeking an experienced automation engineer to support and enhance technology and production lines. You will plan, schedule, and document projects, and assist with facility modifications while maintaining validation records and safety standards.

The role requires a four-year technical degree and at least three years in a related industry, with strong knowledge of FDA QSR, cGMP, and ISO standards. On-site work at our Phoenix facility is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support new and existing technology and production lines to improve quality, profitability, and safety.

• Troubleshoot and repair automation and related equipment.

Job description

• Develop and support new and existing technology and production lines to improve quality, profitability, and safety.
• Plan, schedule, execute, and document projects according to timelines, goals, and established procedures.
• Manage or assist with facility expansions and modifications.
• Develop and maintain validation and project management documentation.
• Perform engineering design work, layouts, sketches, concepts, and plant-layout support.
• Develop or review engineering change requests for process, equipment, and facility modifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair automation, including assembly machines and fixtures, label applicators, robots, end-of-arm tooling, separators, and test equipment.
• Evaluate and maintain machine safety systems.
• Analyze production data to help ensure automation lines meet targeted output and OEE.
• Maintain product quality through proper maintenance and operation of automation.
• Communicate maintenance and downtime issues to shift leaders and program managers.
• Work on-site five days per week. No relocation provided.
