W3Global in California seeks an experienced civil litigation associate to join our public entity defense team. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of civil litigation defense, can work independently on aggressively litigated matters, and can mentor junior attorneys.

Employment litigation experience is highly valued, and strong research and writing skills are essential. This is primarily an in-person role with potential hybrid arrangements.

For The First Opening (Civil Litigation Associate)

• Full file handling experience is required
• Trial experience is strongly preferred
• Experience in management-side employment litigation and public entity defense is highly valued
• This is primarily an in-person role, though hybrid arrangements may be considered
• Attorneys with 10-30 years of experience for this position
• Case management from inception through resolution
• Preparation of motions, oppositions, replies, and other court pleadings
• Analysis of legal issues, exposures, and defenses
• Prepare/respond to written discovery
• Assessment of damages claims
• Work collaboratively with attorneys of all experience levels
• Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys
