Job summary

AAA Mountain West Group is seeking a product marketing leader to own the P&L for a key product, drive growth, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. The role is hybrid, requiring three days per week in Walnut Creek, CA, and offers a comprehensive benefits package and incentive opportunities.

The ideal candidate brings 4–6 years of relevant experience in retail or CPG, plus an MBA or master’s degree and strong analytical, communication, and negotiational skills to execute marketing

• Retail or consumer packaged goods experience (required).

Responsibilities

• Own product P&L and drive KPI targets.

NOTE: This role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week in our Walnut Creek, CA office.

Reporting to the Manager this role will be assigned full responsibility for a product and its business results with significant complexity and contribution to club performance. They will be accountable for managing product development and executing strategies and plans in partnership with cross-functional teams and external creative agencies.

Essential Functions

• Strategy and Execution - Own Product P&L and manage key business KPIs to accomplish strategic goals
• Marketing Strategic Plan Development & Execution - Responsible for development and execution of annual plans including business analytics, communication, digital and social media plans. Partner internally and externally to develop and execute marketing activities that drive growth and achieve targets
• Competitive Intelligence - Monitor competitor activities, including pricing, promotion, new product launches, advertising
• Marketing Budget - Manage marketing budget, including budget tracker, PO's and invoicing
• Project Management - Perform ad-hoc projects as needed to support Product Marketing Manager
• Communication/ Networking - Guide advertising agencies and production vendors to execute communication plan; Assist in vendor negotiations and selection to control expense; prepare materials with creative agencies

We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $132,465.00 - Mid: $165,580.00
