Job summary

Terumo Neuro in California seeks a senior-level assembler to perform the assembly or sub-assembly of medical devices under supervision. You will follow manufacturing documents, record build data, and communicate issues to leads and supervisors to ensure quality and compliance.

The role involves working with engineers on special assembly requests, maintaining a safe workspace, and training peers on certified procedures while meeting production goals and metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience following manufacturing documents to assemble products.
• Ability to record data on build records.
• Communicate material/process issues to leads and supervisors.
• Learn and perform multiple manufacturing procedures as directed.

Responsibilities

• Follow manufacturing instructions to assemble products or prototypes as required.
• Record data associated with the building of products on build records or prototypes as required.
• Communicate with leads and supervisors when issues related to materials, processes, and/or written procedures are encountered.
• Work with engineers and supervisors to perform special assembly requests.
• Follow all related quality, compliance, and Company policies and procedures.
• Understand Operations objectives and work with team members to achieve overall production goals.
• Learn and maintain knowledge and skills to perform at least six (6) manufacturing procedures successfully.
• As directed by leads and supervisors, train other assemblers on certified manufacturing procedures.
• Meet all performance standards and metrics by using time and resources efficiently.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by keeping work area in a neat and organized manner.
• Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

$20.35/Hour - $25.44/Hour (Financial compensation packages may be higher/lower than listed, & will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand)
