Job summary

Terumo Neuro in Aliso Viejo, CA seeks an entry-level assembler to join its manufacturing team. You will follow manufacturing documents to assemble products or prototypes under supervision, record build data, and escalate issues to leads.

This role focuses on learning a manufacturing procedure, supporting engineers, maintaining quality and safety, and contributing to production goals. Training and mentorship are provided to help you grow.

Qualifications

• Experience in basic assembly or manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to read and follow manufacturing instructions and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Willingness to learn and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Follow manufacturing instructions to assemble products or prototypes as required.
• Record data associated with the building of products on build records or prototypes as required.
• Communicate with leads and supervisors when issues related to materials, processes, and/or written procedures are encountered.
• Work with engineers and supervisors to perform special assembly requests.
• Follow all related quality, compliance, and company policies and procedures.
• Understand operations objectives and work with team members to achieve overall production goals.
• Learn and maintain knowledge and skills to perform at least one manufacturing procedure successfully.
• As directed by leads and supervisors, train other assemblers on certified manufacturing procedures.
• Meet all performance standards and metrics by using time and resources efficiently.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by keeping work area in a neat and organized manner.
• Comply with applicable Laws and Regulations, adhere to Quality Management System processes and requirements as well as demonstrate Ethics and Integrity in all matters and at all levels throughout the organization.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Perform the assembly or sub-assembly of medical device products in an entry-level position under close supervision from line leaders and supervisors in accordance with manufacturing documents. Job duties:

$17.85/Hour - $21.5/Hour (Financial compensation packages may be higher/lower than listed, & will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand)
