Job summary

Aether Aerospace in Hollywood, MD is seeking an experienced Assembler to join our Defense Technology platform. You will assemble components using hand tools, rivets, nuts, bolts, and aircraft hardware, following established procedures and blueprints to ensure quality.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and at least 4 years of assembly experience, the ability to obtain Secret Clearance, strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and solid teamwork to help us meet

• High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 4+ years of experience in assembly work or a similar role.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, rivets, nuts, bolts, aircraft hardware, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate assembly.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly operations on components following established procedures and work instructions.
• Assemble hardware installation to complex systems of multiple sub-assemblies.
• Use hand tools for installation of rivets, PEM studs, PEM nuts, nuts, bolts, and other aircraft hardware.
• Read blueprints and specifications to ensure accurate assembly.
• Inspect components for quality and compliance with specifications, adjusting or repairing as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area for safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team to achieve production goals and meet deadlines.
• Communicate issues regarding the assembly process to supervisors or quality control personnel.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
• Continuously strive for improvement in assembly techniques and efficiency.

Location: Hollywood, MD and Day Shift: 6am-4pm Mon-Thur and 6am-3pm Friday

Our client is seeking an experienced Assembler. As an Assembler, you willbe responsible forassembling components using various hand tools, rivets, nuts, bolts,aircrafthardware, and other materials. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform assembly operations on various components following established procedures and work instructions.
• Assembly experience of simple hardware installation to complex integrated systems of multiple sub-assemblies.
• Utilize various hand tools for installation ofhelicoils, rivets,pemstuds,pemnuts, nuts, bolts,aircrafthardware, and other materials to assemble products.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensureaccurateassembly.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Clearance: Abilitytoobtain Secret Clearance

Education and Years of Experience: High School Diploma/GED and a Minimum of 4+ years of experience in assembly work or a similar role.

• Proficiencyin using hand tools, rivets, nuts, bolts,aircrafthardware, and related equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Previousexperience in aerospace, defense, or a related industry.
• Additionaltechnical certifications or training in assembly or related fields.

$24.99 - $32.24 an hour
