Job description

Genesis10 is seeking an Angular/Zerto Developer with our financial services client in New York, NY. This is a six-month contract 100% remote position with potential to extend or convert to full-time.

This role requires experience with front end development (Angular & Zerto) as well as migration experience. The goal of the project is to create automation to allow for self-service VM mobility. This will enable an increase in the volume of VMs migrated over a given period by allowing self-service scheduling by the BU production services team in a protected manner.

Summary and Responsibilities:

Sr. Specialist Developer consults with internal business groups to provide application software development services or technical support. Analyzes, defines, and documents requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware, and environment, interfacing with other systems, checks, controls, and outputs using our client's standard methodology. Works with business groups on implementation, analyzes information, and provides recommendations to resolve issues. Contributes to project planning, feasibility analysis, and best practices for technical development, proposing innovative solutions.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8-10 years of software development experience
• Experience in front end development, migration, Angular, and Zerto

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in securities or financial services industry
• Virtualization, project management, vMotion

Compensation:

This position pays $90/hr - $100/hr W2 depending on experience.
