Job Description

You will work on the frontend of the MyTime web application, collaborating with UX designers and engineers to implement scalable, well-tested features. Your goal will be to create responsive, pixel-perfect web UIs while addressing scalability, performance, and complex business logic. The application is used by millions of consumers and tens of thousands of employees monthly. Engineers are responsible for writing code and ensuring its proper deployment and operation in production.

You should have experience developing high-quality software and be excited to work in a fast-growing environment. You should be able to participate in technical discussions and iterate on features based on analytics and user feedback.

You will also contribute to product design, feature development, and fostering a culture of excellence. Our team supports each other through code reviews, daily stand-ups, and pair programming, facilitating learning and smooth releases. We seek engineers ready to tackle technical challenges and have a significant impact on the product and company.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop quality Angular/React code with proper unit tests and documentation.
2. Implement new features focusing on design and performance across supported browsers.
3. Prioritize scalability, speed, and security in your code and reviews.
4. Participate in feature discussions, take ownership, and collaborate for successful outcomes.
5. Mentor and promote best coding practices within the team and architecture group.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Angular experience, including AngularJS and Angular 2+
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux
• Interest in learning Angular 18 or 19
• Experience with frontend unit testing
• Skills in performance analysis and frontend optimization
• Attention to detail and conscientious design implementation
• Strong communication skills and self-motivation
• Degree in computer science or related field preferred but not required
• Experience with CoffeeScript and webpack is a plus
• Knowledge of Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS is a bonus
