The Studio Research & Analytics team is currently seeking a Senior Analyst, Research to support the Disney+ Marketing, Product & Content Curation groups. The Senior Analyst works closely with the Disney+ teams, analyzing and synthesizing data, as well as providing support for quantitative and qualitative research initiatives for key stakeholders. The primary areas of responsibility for this role focus on research supporting the Disney+ brand and bundle initiatives.

This role will report to the Manager, Research and is located in Burbank, California.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with quantitative and qualitative research projects from inception to completion, including project management, data collection, preparation, extraction, analysis, and report development.
  2. Ensure that every deliverable is strategically actionable and drives key decision-making.
  3. Serve as a point of contact for various groups within Disney+, providing consumer and industry-based input to decision-making.
  4. Assist in the day-to-day operations of monthly domestic and international tracking studies (Brand Health, CSAT, Cancellation, Ad Tracker).
  5. Assist with ad-hoc, custom quantitative and qualitative research to guide marketing efforts related to Disney+ brand and DTC bundles.
  6. Manage assignments, implement quality assurance processes, and support timely completion of tasks.
  7. Synthesize primary, secondary, and on-platform research to inform product and marketing decisions.
  8. Respond to time-sensitive data requests from internal clients.
  9. Support presentation of research findings and contribute to business discussions.
  10. Stay informed on SVOD industry trends.
  11. Build and maintain relationships with research counterparts and external vendors.
  12. Stay updated on current trends and techniques in market research.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of quantitative and qualitative market research experience, including project management.
  • Strong project and vendor management skills.
  • Experience with SPSS, Survey Reporter, Q, Marketsight, or similar tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables, vlookup, and data visualization.
  • Experience designing questionnaires, planning tabulations, and data processing.
  • Strong analytical skills and quantitative reasoning.
  • Ability to multitask effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on broader objectives.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and quick learner.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and deadline management.
  • Passion for content and innovation.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of data visualization software.
  • Experience with SAS, STATA, or R.
  • Entertainment market research experience.
  • Advanced degree in Market Research, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Strong business acumen and relationship-building skills.
  • Content enthusiast with familiarity with Disney brands and franchises.
Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Data Sciences, Statistics, Marketing, Psychology, or related fields.
