Sr. Analyst, Reporting and Data Management
The Sr. Analyst, Reporting and Data Management position is a unique opportunity to drive impact at a fast‑growing company that has the highest standards for talent, client success, and fun. This person will work with client‑facing teams, product teams, and data engineers to build reports that unlock valuable insights for internal teams and clients. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented and loves to investigate and solve challenges that result in driving data solutions and impact for our clients and teams. The candidate must be comfortable supporting multiple work streams, prioritizing the most vital tasks, and being able to think critically to identify risks and opportunities for driving automation of reporting at scale. This individual will play a pivotal role in helping Ovative efficiently scale our business.
Responsibilities
- Build effective, efficient reporting solutions at scale that connect to business needs; configure reporting templates to suit client business needs and drive improved outcomes.
- Support stakeholder training and troubleshooting for reporting solutions.
- Enable client‑facing and pipeline data quality and readiness across our data solutions and understand use cases and user stories.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and advocate for report configuration and flexibility, balancing the need to scale across a diverse client portfolio.
- Ensure solutions reflect best‑in‑class security and usability standards.
- Support migration of remaining existing clients to our new reporting solution and continually improve and maintain existing solutions to drive better insights, time savings, and confidence at scale.
Collaboration Across Multiple Teams and Stakeholders
- Work closely with Client Services, Data Engineering, Measurement Solutions, Product, and Activate to understand user needs, create consistent reporting standards, unlock value for team members and clients, and deliver time‑savings.
- Educate and train users on how to use our tools and reports efficiently.
- Occasionally interact professionally with clients.
Adopt and Advocate for User‑Centered Design Principles
- Learn and understand media reporting best practices and advocate for improvements.
- Advocate to product on behalf of client needs to drive improvements to Ovative offerings.
- Drive client adoption and personal expertise in Tableau, data bricks, and other relevant tools with a “template‑first” mentality.
- Quantify impact and prioritize against desired outcomes.
- Use insights to influence the future of our reporting solutions.
Team Leadership and Employee Development
- Proactively drive and manage work independently with initial direction from manager.
- Regularly speak up, ask questions, and express your point of view.
- Foster a culture of open communication and 360‑degree feedback.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience with paid media metrics and key performance indicators, knowledge of marketing analytics and attribution methods.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel experience and data visualization tools.
- Basic understanding of data warehousing and engineering concepts.
- Preferred: business intelligence expertise (Tableau, GLS, etc.).
- Preferred: working knowledge of SQL and ability to write basic queries to extract and analyze data; familiarity with Python or R.
- Preferred: GitHub/version control tools.

Compensation and Insurance
For Sr. Analyst positions, compensation ranges from $75,000 to $93,000, inclusive of a 15% bonus. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, paid vacation, 401(k) match, and additional perks.
