This position has a base salary range of $72,000.00 - $108,000.00 USD Annual. This range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience and time in the role.

Summary

This role will partner with multiple management teams within the larger Payments Team to leverage data and enhance their business; including identifying opportunities within the Debit portfolio to increase purchase volume, strengthen member engagement and improve profitability. The Sr Analyst will assist management with calculating impacts of impending regulatory changes that impact non-interest income. Armed with valuable insights, the Sr Analyst will take action by preparing and delivering proposals to leadership. After gaining support, the Sr Analyst will help implement change, measure effectiveness, aiming to drive continuous improvement in the portfolio. The individual should be an accomplished analyst with experience working with diverse, large data sets.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Work with Payments leadership to develop, execute and fine-tune data models and strategies to drive debit payment volume growth, operational cost efficiency and member experience.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage data within payment operations to increase cost efficiency and effectiveness and improve the member experience.
  • Apply analysis and the presentation of data to uncover unique actionable insights.
  • Assist management in preparing proposals for changes to product pricing, structure, and strategy while acting as a key resource for implementation.
  • Leverage various data sources to establish and enhance systematic portfolio reporting to help generate key business insights.
  • Apply creativity in developing analytic solutions based on available data sources.
  • Measure product life cycle profitability vs cost to acquire to understand net impact to BCU's bottom line.
  • Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to turn analysis into insight-driven applications.
  • Support management during the annual financial planning process and with forecast updates throughout the year.
  • Update dashboards and reports with month-end results.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Completion of a BA or BS degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing Engineering or Hard Sciences.
  • Minimum 3 years of overall related experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel user.
  • 3+ years with SQL preferred.
  • 2+ years in PowerBI.
  • Effective interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Possess demonstrated analytical skills and an ability to draw conclusions from large sets of data.
  • Highly collaborative and ability to work effectively with associates at all levels within the organization.
  • Prior experience at a financial institution a plus.
