The Sr. Analyst, Digital Shelf will drive eCommerce growth by optimizing product visibility, content quality, and shopper experiences across major online retail platforms. In this role, you will own digital shelf strategy and execution for a portfolio of key customers, helping improve organic product placement, sales, and market share. You will leverage data, search optimization techniques, and digital analytics to identify opportunities that increase product discoverability and conversion. You will also serve as a subject matter expert in written content strategy, ensuring product information remains accurate, engaging, and relevant across retailer websites. Accountabilities

- Own end-to-end product detail page (PDP) content strategy and execution for assigned customers, using digital shelf analytics, content intelligence, and retailer partnerships to improve organic product placement, sales, market share, and content accuracy.

- Optimize search engine performance through keyword research, search engine optimization (SEO), and on-page content improvements to strengthen product discoverability across eCommerce platforms.

- Enhance visibility in AI-powered product recommendations and citations through Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) techniques and strategic content optimization.

- Evaluate content effectiveness across product descriptions, images, and videos, developing data-driven recommendations to improve shopper engagement and conversion rates.

- Coordinate content syndication with agency partners and vendor platforms, ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely product information across retailer websites.

- Develop and maintain product taxonomy structures aligned with retailer requirements to improve search relevance, product categorization, and online navigation.

- Identify and lead testing initiatives to uncover organic growth opportunities, manage experiments from planning through completion, analyze results, and translate findings into scalable best practices.

- Collaborate with omnichannel shopper marketing, sales teams, and external partners to align priorities, execute strategic initiatives, and measure business impact.

- Monitor and report digital shelf performance, communicate strategic opportunities, and share actionable insights and recommendations with stakeholders and organizational leadership.

- Drive continuous improvement by leveraging consumer research, performance data, and industry developments to refine content strategies and strengthen digital shelf execution.

Requirements

- One to three years of experience in digital shelf management, eCommerce, shopper marketing, or a related field. Consumer packaged goods (CPG) experience is preferred but not required.

- Demonstrated understanding of eCommerce marketing, digital merchandising, and strategies for improving product visibility and online conversion.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyze data, develop reports, and communicate actionable insights.

- Familiarity with Product Information Management (PIM) platforms such as Salsify or Syndigo is an advantage but not mandatory.

- Knowledge of SEO, content optimization, product detail page management, content syndication, and digital performance measurement; familiarity with emerging AEO practices is beneficial.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across sales, marketing, external agencies, and other cross-functional teams.

- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to interpret complex information, identify business opportunities, and make sound decisions independently.

- Demonstrated ownership, initiative, and leadership in managing projects, overcoming challenges, and delivering measurable results.

- Strong analytical skills and a continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to translate data and research into practical recommendations.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, including experience managing multiple projects or product categories simultaneously.

- A naturally curious, self-motivated, and resourceful approach, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving digital environment.
