Job description

In this role, you will help to ensure our Compensation programs and practices are market competitive and drive a performance culture. You support the development, adaptation, and delivery of Compensation programs and key initiatives to the business. You will develop a deep understanding of the business and work with cross-functional teams to ensure our Compensation programs and practices are effectively leveraged to enable talent attraction and retention. Responsibilities include:

  1. Complex compensation data analysis with recommendations for action, external market research, and consulting on compensation policies and procedures.

What You'll Do

  • Consult with HR and the business on labor market trends, internal/external competitiveness, and compensation recommendations for assigned client group(s) to ensure competitive and equitable compensation.
  • Participate in the implementation and administration of compensation programs, including the annual compensation review process.
  • Conduct job evaluations and participate in compensation survey matching/surveys.
  • Establish salary structures and determine salary increase budgets/guidelines for assigned client group(s).
  • Contribute to the development of compensation policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of legislation that may affect compensation policies.
  • Manage projects and program execution within area of specialty and ensure quality of work delivered to the business.

Who You Are

  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills; ability to synthesize large amounts of data and make observations and recommendations; proficient in Excel.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to influence and explain complex information in simple terms; proficient in Word and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to anticipate operational/program issues and develop preventative measures.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and oversee multiple concurrent projects and workstreams with various business partners.
  • Experience in Compensation or other analytical fields.
