Job summary

Delta Air Lines, Inc. seeks a Senior Analyst in Direct Marketing to drive growth for the SkyMiles U.S.-based co-branded portfolio. You will manage direct mail and landing page campaigns, work with American Express and agencies, and optimize performance based on real-time data.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to plan large-scale campaigns, brief creatives, and ensure timely delivery within budget. Strong analytical and collaboration skills are essential.

The team is driving consistent double-digit portfolio growth, anchored by our record-breaking card acquisition, with more than a million customers choosing to take out a Delta co-brand card each year.

Senior Analyst, Direct Marketing will help us continue above-industry growth and 1M+ customer sign-ups per year.

The successful candidate will possess the following characteristics: 1) a strategic thinker who is able to resolve hurdles and collaborate in a cross-functional, dynamic and fast paced environment 2) Organized and detail oriented with a track record of successful project management 3) Understands the importance of data and reporting, tracking results in real time and optimizing from them.

The Senior Analyst, Co-Brand Acquisitions Direct Marketing will be responsible for Direct Marketing channel management for Delta’s U.S.-based Co-Branded Credit Card portfolio in partnership with American Express, with a goal of growing new customer acquisition via Direct channels such as Direct Mail & targeted web pages.

  • Partner with American Express, agencies and Delta Marketing teams to lead the implementation, measurement and optimization of direct mail and targeted landing page channels

  • Responsible for day-to-day channel management, including campaign timing, project managing assets, monitoring performance and product profitability

  • Lead briefing and creative development of campaigns and manage agency partner

  • Collaborate with internal and external teams and successfully plan and deliver on large scale/high priority campaigns on time and within budget

  • Influence channel marketing strategy in conjunction with key partners and stakeholders

  • Utilize strong analytical skills to assess performance by extracting and evaluating complex data and turning it into concise and actionable recommendations

  • Communicate with senior leadership, both inside and outside of the organization, about marketing initiatives and channel performance

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

  • Minimum of 2 years related work experience

  • Experience in developing marketing channel strategies, project plans and executing them within budget, on time, and to positive results

  • Ability to balance tactical project management with strategic thinking/approach

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across internal and external teams

  • Must be results-oriented, proactive, highly organized and have strong attention-to-detail

  • Must be comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities

  • Position requires 4 days in office per week

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • Experience leading and project managing cross-divisional projects is strongly preferred

  • Experience developing creative assets on either the agency or client side is highly preferred

  • Direct marketing and/or digital (direct mail, email, landing page creative development, digital banners etc.) channel experience is preferred
