Tundra Technical Solutions seeks a Senior Adobe Experience Platform Technical Lead to provide hands‑on technical leadership for architecture, implementation, and evolution of enterprise customer‑data and omnichannel digital‑experience capabilities.
The role requires subject‑matter expertise in AEP and AEP Web SDK, with knowledge across the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem to guide engineering teams through delivery and operations.
We are seeking a Senior Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Technical Lead to provide hands‑on technical leadership for the architecture, implementation, and evolution of enterprise customer‑data and omnichannel digital‑experience capabilities.
This individual will be a subject‑matter expert in AEP and Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK, with working knowledge of integrations across the Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem, including Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
The role will translate business and marketing objectives into secure, scalable, governed, reusable, and connected omnichannel solutions while guiding engineering teams through delivery and operational support.
Own the end‑to‑end technical architecture and implementation strategy for AEP solutions across omnichannel customer touchpoints, including web, mobile, email, messaging, call center, branch, batch, streaming, and enterprise data sources.
Lead the design of Experience Data Model (XDM) schemas, datasets, identities, namespaces, merge policies, Real‑Time Customer Profile, audiences, sources, destinations, and omnichannel activation patterns.
Architect and govern Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK implementations, including tags, data layers, event design, data streams, consent handling, identity collection, personalization, Edge Network integrations, and consistency across web, mobile, and other omnichannel interaction points.
Design integrations between AEP and AJO, CJA, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, AEM, and other Adobe or third‑party platforms to enable connected, real‑time omnichannel journeys, personalization, measurement, and audience activation.
Partner with marketing, analytics, product, privacy, security, data engineering, channel, and application teams to convert omnichannel use cases and customer‑journey objectives into extensible technical designs.
Establish engineering standards for naming, schema composition, reusable components, environment and sandbox strategy, deployment, monitoring, testing, and documentation.
Provide hands‑on guidance, code and design reviews, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and root‑cause analysis for complex platform and integration issues.
Define technical guardrails for data quality, lineage, governance, privacy, security, consent, and responsible audience activation.
Lead technical discovery, proofs of concept, implementation planning, dependency management, and delivery risk mitigation.
Mentor engineers and implementation partners, build platform expertise across teams, and communicate architecture decisions to technical and executive stakeholders.
Collaborate with Adobe and implementation partners to evaluate product capabilities, resolve platform issues, and align the roadmap with enterprise priorities.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, computer science, digital technology, design or equivalent experience.
5 to 7 years of hands‑on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and enterprise data collection platforms, including the design, implementation, and support of scalable customer‑data and omnichannel experience solutions.
Deep, hands‑on expertise with Adobe Experience Platform, including XDM, data ingestion, identity services, Real‑Time Customer Profile, segmentation, governance, destinations, and omnichannel audience activation.
Expert‑level knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK, Adobe Experience Platform Tags, datastreams, Edge Network processing, event schemas, identity, consent, debugging, and implementation best practices.
Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise integrations among AEP, Adobe Journey Optimizer, and Customer Journey Analytics to support real‑time, connected, and measurable omnichannel customer experiences.
Working knowledge of additional Adobe Experience Cloud products such as Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, AEM, Real‑Time CDP, and Adobe Campaign.
Strong understanding of customer‑data architecture, event‑driven systems, APIs, streaming and batch patterns, data modeling, personalization, identity resolution, journey orchestration, and coordinated omnichannel activation and measurement.
Experience leading complex technical initiatives across multiple teams and influencing architecture, delivery, and governance without relying solely on direct authority.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience implementing AJO journeys, campaigns, decisioning, offers, and real‑time event triggers across omnichannel touchpoints such as email, SMS, push, in‑app, web, code‑based experiences, and custom actions.
Experience configuring CJA connections, data views, calculated metrics, attribution, and omnichannel or cross‑channel analysis to measure end‑to‑end customer journeys.
Knowledge of Adobe Assurance, Experience Platform Debugger, observability tools, automated testing, and CI/CD practices for Adobe implementations.
Experience with regulated environments and enterprise privacy requirements, including consent, data retention, access controls, and data‑usage policies.
Active Adobe Experience Platform certification, or a comparable Adobe certification in AJO, CJA, Real‑Time CDP, Adobe Analytics, or a related Experience Cloud solution, at the Professional, Expert, or Master level; Expert or Master level is strongly preferred for this senior technical leadership role.
Experience guiding system integrators or consulting partners and evaluating solution designs, estimates, and delivery quality.
