Job summary
Brady Corp. seeks a Sr Advanced Wireless/RF Engineer to lead RF design, driving IoT solutions for smarter buildings. You will report to the Sr Engineering Manager and work from Fort Mill, SC on a Hybrid schedule.
You’ll guide a team through RF specs, design, testing, and certification, collaborating with partners and marketing to meet customer needs. Strong senior RF expertise is required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering degree with 6+ years of experience in RF design.
- 5+ years experience designing new products from concept to release and support.
- Exposure to designing radios into products (Cellular 3G/4G/5G, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, or RFID).
- Deep understanding of RF concepts including EMI prevention, layout routing, noise suppression, impedance control and antenna placement, optimization and design.
- ESD protection, power supply circuits, audio design and acoustics, battery technologies, and basic RF circuitry.
- Capability to complete demanding assignments by applying advanced RF engineering methods and tools.
- Ability to influence cross‑functional teams to deliver optimal solutions.
- Ability to balance systematic analysis with decisiveness in an ambiguous environment.
- Clearly and concisely convey subtle or complex messages to a variety of audiences.
- Capability to follow guidelines and ensure efficiency on given project tasks.
