Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a skilled embedded software engineer to design, develop, and release software for avionics display systems and frameworks. The role requires hands-on C++ in real-time or regulated environments, with emphasis on architecture, algorithms, and certification requirements.

You will coordinate tasks across teams, communicate project status and risks, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to process improvements and reliability of avionics software across

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED, eight years of software development experience in embedded/real-time/regulatory environments, and eight years of hands-on C++ development.
• Experience with software architecture, OO design, algorithms, data structures, and the software lifecycle is required; a technical bachelor's degree and aerospace/safety-critical industry experience are valued.
