Job summary

JobSquad Florida is seeking a Software Engineer III to design, develop, integrate, test, and troubleshoot embedded software for avionics systems in an aerospace environment. You will work onsite with a multidisciplinary team to deliver robust cockpit and avionics software solutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of embedded software experience, strong C/C++ skills, and familiarity with real-time constraints, hardware integration, and testing disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field is required.
• 5+ years of professional embedded software development experience, preferably in aerospace/avionics/defense/electronics.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming and knowledge of assembly language.
• Experience with embedded systems, real-time software, microprocessors and microcontrollers.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing, verification, debugging, and configuration management.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware/software integration issues and performing root-cause analysis.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, drawings and engineering specifications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills.

We’re seeking an experienced Software Engineer III to join an aerospace/avionics manufacturing team. This full-time, onsite role focuses on designing, developing, integrating, testing, and troubleshooting embedded software for advanced aircraft cockpit and avionics systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain embedded software for avionics equipment and aircraft control systems.

• Familiarity with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers, and other electronic test equipment.
