engineeringjobs.net, Inc. is seeking a senior aerospace software engineer to develop, coordinate, and conduct complex tests and debugging for control and diagnostic systems, and to collaborate across disciplines on the planning, design, development, and use of software systems.

You will design and implement build procedures, recommend improvements to software production components, and analyze end‑user needs to resolve software requirements and data acquisition issues.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 8 years of aerospace software engineering experience.
• Alternatively, a master’s degree or equivalent with 5 years of such experience is acceptable.
• Additionally requires at least 5 years of experience in avionics navigation systems, DO-178B DAL-A products, C/C++ development, and real-time embedded systems development.

Job description
