Honeywell's Energy and Sustainability Solutions (ESS) team is looking for a talented engineer to work within our R&D Operations team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data analysis, engineering processes, and working with cross-functional teams. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient execution of Honeywell's Global Design Model (GDM), enhancing operational efficiency, and promoting collaboration within our R&D teams.

Key Responsibilities:

KPI Management and Reporting:
• Assist with Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and STRAP planning and execution.
• Provide monthly reports on R&D KPIs and develop action plans for areas needing attention.

Project Management:
• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of operations-related projects and initiatives.
• Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Track progress and resolve any emerging issues.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Coordinate activities among R&D, product management, and other key stakeholders.
• Foster communication and collaboration to ensure alignment with R&D organizational goals.

Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for enhancing engineering operations and implement best practices.
• Develop and refine processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness.

Stakeholder Engagement:
• Serve as a primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and deliver project status updates to management and stakeholders.

Risk Management:
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and challenges.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and engineering standards.

The annual base salary range for this position is $122,000-$145,000. Please note that this
salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various
factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and
responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education
and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

MUST HAVE:
• A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Over 5 years of experience in technical or project management within an R&D environment.
• Strong understanding of R&D operations and methodologies.
• Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Office 365).

WE VALUE:
• Knowledge of PPM tools like Accolade, Cora, etc.
• Prior experience working with Chemical /Petrochemical/Gas Manufacturing or Process Engineering
• Cross Functional program management experience
• Experience in data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau
