Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and executive support to senior managers and partners in West Michigan.
  • Prepare documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Maintain confidential files and manage database files.
  • Arrange travel and process travel reimbursements.
  • Schedule meetings and conferences.
  • Work on special projects and assist with reports as required.
  • May track or monitor expenses for the department.
  • Greet and assist clients and vendors.
  • Identify and resolve problems within established guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively as a team member and independently.
  • Support business development and culture engagement.
  • Support West and East Michigan advisory board activities.

The Sr. Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to senior managers and other partners in the department.
Key responsibilities include:
  • 1.Provides administrative and executive support to senior manager and other partners in West Michigan
  • 2.Composes and creates documents, spreadsheets and/or presentations
  • 3.Maintains and organizes paper and electronic files. Ensures confidentiality
  • 4.Manages database files
  • 5.Handles and confirms travel arrangements and processes travel expense reimbursements
  • 6.Schedules meetings and conferences
  • 7.Works on special projects, such as gathering, inputting and compiling information for reports as required by manager or other partners in the department
  • 8.May track or monitor expenses for the department
  • 9.May greet or assist clients and/or vendors
  • 10.Responsible for identifying and resolving problems within established guidelines
  • 11.Expected to use some initiative but refer more complex problems to supervisors/experts
  • 12.Works effectively as a team member but also independently
  • 13.Business development support
  • 14.Culture and group engagement support
  • 15.West and East Michigan advisory board support
The successful candidate will have:
  • Professional communication skills (verbal and written) are required
  • Financial Services industry knowledge is preferred
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are required
  • Technical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Microsoft Office and Workday)
  • Event support knowledge is preferred
