A Senior Administrative Assistant job is available with the City of Fort Worth, Transportation and Public Works Department in the Business Support Division, supporting Community Facilities Agreement (CFA) projects. We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Administrative Assistant to provide high-level administrative support with a focus on complex fiscal tasks, budget analysis, and project reconciliation. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of government purchasing procedures, municipal accounting practices, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and capable of handling shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically require touching, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions.
Sedentary Work – Depending on assignment, positions in this class typically exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
