Job summary

OST INC is seeking a Sr Acquisition Analyst to support DoD and federal acquisition actions for Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS). You will coordinate with government staff, contractors, and engineering teams to ensure compliant, well-documented procurements aligned with cost, schedule, and performance goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in DoD acquisition, with hands-on experience in SOWs, PWSs, IGCEs, market research, and program management, plus

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting acquisition or contracting activities within a DoD or Federal environment

Description of specific duties in a typical workday for this position:
  • TheSr.Acquisition Analyst provides acquisition and programmatic supportassistingGovernment personnel in planning, developing, executing, and managing acquisition actions in support of Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS). The individual supports the full acquisition lifecycle to ensure procurements are compliant, well-documented, and aligned with cost, schedule, performance, and trainingobjectives.
  • Responsibilities include supporting development, review, and coordination of acquisition documentation such as Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), market research documentation, acquisition strategies, and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs). The Acquisition Analyst supports preparation and staffing of requirements packages, tracks contract actions and modifications, and coordinates with contracting offices and technical teams.
  • Additionalduties include supporting technical, management, and cost proposal evaluationsin accordance withestablished evaluation criteria;assistingwith funding documentation and acquisition milestones; tracking contract deliverables and performance metrics; and preparing acquisition-related reports and briefings. The role collaborates closely with systems engineers, test engineers, logisticians, financial analysts, and leadership to ensure acquisition activities effectively support TADSS development, fielding, sustainment, and modernization efforts.
  • TheSr.Acquisition Analyst provides analytical support and recommendations to enable informed acquisition decisions andensuresacquisition processes are executed efficiently and in compliance with applicable policies and regulations.
Requirements (Years of experience, Education, Certifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Acquisition Management, Contracting, Program Management, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting acquisition or contracting activities within a DoD or Federal environment
  • Demonstrated experience with:
  • Development and review of acquisition documentation (SOWs, PWSs, IGCEs)
  • Market research and acquisition planning
  • Contract action and deliverable tracking
  • Proposal evaluation support
  • Coordination with contracting offices and technical teams
  • Active Secret security clearance
Nice to Have (skills that are not required, but nice to have):
  • Experience supportingSynthetic Environmentor Army training programs
  • Familiarity with:
    • DoD acquisition lifecycle and documentation
    • TADSS acquisition and sustainment processes
    • Program management and funding coordination
    • DAU coursework or certification in Acquisition, Contracting, or Program Management

This is a full-time position paying a base salary $90,000 - 95,000 , full benefits, and has possible bonus potential based on merit and performance.
