Job summary

OST, Inc. is seeking an Acquisition Analyst Journeyman to provide acquisition, data analysis, and programmatic support to Government personnel supporting Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Acquisition Management, Contracting, Program Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting acquisition or contracting activities within a DoD or Federal environment.
  • Experience developing or reviewing SOWs, PWSs, and IGCEs.
  • Experience supporting market research and acquisition planning.
  • Experience tracking contract actions, deliverables, or acquisition milestones.
  • Experience supporting proposal evaluations.
  • Experience coordinating with contracting offices, technical teams, and Government stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review data, identify trends, and communicate findings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard Microsoft Office applications.
  • Active Secret security clearance required.
  • Power BI experience with dashboards, reports, or data visualization.
  • DAU coursework or certification in Acquisition, Contracting, or Program Management.

  • Support preparation and staffing of requirements packages and acquisition documentation.
  • Track contract actions, modifications, deliverables, milestones, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate acquisition activities with contracting offices, Government personnel, technical teams, and stakeholders.
  • Support evaluations of technical, management, and cost proposals per criteria.
  • Assist with funding documentation, planning, and milestone tracking.
  • Analyze maintenance, utilization, workload data to identify trends and gaps.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, briefings, and analytics to support decisions.
  • Use data visualization tools to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Support analyses related to TADSS maintenance, sustainment, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with engineers, logisticians, and leadership to support TADSS lifecycle.

Acquisition Analyst Journeyman
Position Overview

OST is seeking an Acquisition Analyst Journeyman to provide acquisition, data analysis, and programmatic support to Government personnel supporting Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS).

This position combines traditional acquisition support with analysis of maintenance, work order, utilization, and logistics data. The Acquisition Analyst will help Government and program leadership assess workload, demand, priorities, resource requirements, and acquisition needs while supporting the full acquisition lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Support the planning, development, execution, and management of acquisition actions supporting TADSS programs.
  • Develop, review, and coordinate acquisition documentation, including Statements of Work (SOWs), Performance Work Statements (PWSs), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), market research documentation, acquisition strategies, and Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
  • Support preparation and staffing of requirements packages and acquisition documentation.
  • Track contract actions, modifications, deliverables, acquisition milestones, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate acquisition activities with contracting offices, Government personnel, technical teams, and other program stakeholders.
  • Support technical, management, and cost proposal evaluations in accordance with established evaluation criteria.
  • Assist with funding documentation, acquisition planning, and program milestone tracking.
  • Analyze maintenance, work order, utilization, workload, and related program data to identify trends, gaps, and potential mismatches between level of effort, demand, resources, and operational priorities.
  • Develop reports, metrics, dashboards, briefings, and other analytical products to support Government acquisition and program management decisions.
  • Use data analysis and visualization tools to communicate findings and provide actionable recommendations to program leadership.
  • Support analysis related to TADSS maintenance, sustainment, logistics, utilization, and resource requirements.
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, test engineers, logisticians, financial analysts, contracting personnel, and leadership to support TADSS development, fielding, sustainment, and modernization.
  • Provide analytical support and recommendations to improve acquisition efficiency, program performance, and decision-making.
Required Qualifications

  • Logistics, maintenance, or sustainment experience within a DoD environment.
  • Experience supporting Army training programs, Synthetic Environment programs, or TADSS.
  • Familiarity with the DoD acquisition lifecycle and associated acquisition documentation.
  • Familiarity with TADSS acquisition, maintenance, logistics, and sustainment processes.
  • Experience supporting program management, funding coordination, or resource planning.
  • DAU coursework or certification in Acquisition, Contracting, or Program Management.

This is a full-time position paying a base salary of $70,000, full benefits, and has possible bonus potential based on merit and performance.
